    They don't always unscrew from insulin pen afterwards with the outer cap staying on, but I found if you shove the paper seal from the needle into the outer cap before screwing it back on over the used needle, it helps the two parts stay together when removing them from the insulin pen.

    I've had problems with other pen needles not mating properly with my insulin pens.
